Guide to Programs

As Japan’s national center for youth education, N.I.Y.E.’s mid-term objectives correspond to themes revolving around youth in the National Youth Development Policy (set December 2003). N.I.Y.E. strives for the advancement of youth education and sound youth development under the general theme “promoting youth independence through experiential activities.” Toward this end, N.I.Y.E. provides various opportunities for experiential activities such as friendship and outdoor experiences. At the same time, we support training in education, conduct research, promote networking and cooperation among youth organizations and facilities, and offer assistance to private-sector organizations.
